Maxwelle Sokol is the firm's associate attorney. She joined the Virginia Bar in 2015, and is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University in 2012 and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2015. Maxwelle was active in her school's legal clinics, where she represented indigent workers in wage-and-hour claims against their employers and advocated for the institution of maximum temperature policies in Texas prisons. She received several honors for her extensive pro bono work during law school, including a scholarship for her work challenging Texas's school-to-prison pipeline.
